You do not require a Blue Card for child-related activities if you are volunteering at a school attended by your child(ren).
But we will ask you to sign a volunteer declaration that you would otherwise fulfil the requirements for eligibility for a Blue Card.
If you are not a parent at the school and wish to volunteer you will require a Blue Card. This must be
verified by the school before you commence as a volunteer. Volunteer siblings over the age of 18 also require a Blue Card.
The school can assist you to apply for a Blue Card.
If you have a Blue Card issued through some other community activity (eg a junior sporting club) the school will register your additional school activity with Blue Card Services.
