Emotional or psychological abuse is the persistent emotional ill-treatment of a student which causes severe and persistent adverse effects on the student’s emotional development.
Examples of emotional abuse include but are not limited to:
• Constantcriticism,humiliation,withholdingpraise or affection
• Exposureofthestudenttofamilyviolence
