 Confidentiality
As a school volunteer you may see or hear a variety of information relating to staff and students. Schools will only give you access to that information required for you to fulfil your role but you may inadvertently also see or hear things that are confidential.
It is important that you respect all confidential information and not divulge it to any other
person outside of your volunteer responsibilities.
It is important that you do not discuss anything relating to a student (behaviour, learning, appearance, attitude etc) with any other parent, even the parent of the student concerned. This type of discussion is the responsibility of the teacher or Principal.
